Sharing with you our greatest milestones. I hope this helps you get to learn more about us!
Carl was first introduced to Abbie by their common friends in college in November 2016. Hearing about how much she loves K-Dramas, he greeted her with a half bow and said "Annyeonghaseyo".
We don’t have an exact date circled on a calendar or a grand moment that marked the start of “us.” Instead, it began with a conversation on March 1, 2017—simple, genuine, and effortless. Looking back on that day 8 years ago, it feels right to mark that first conversation as the beginning—because that’s when everything started to fall into place.
In January 2018, Abbie and Carl embarked on their first international adventure together, traveling to Hong Kong with the Callueng family. It was more than just a trip—it was their first glimpse of exploring places and creating memories outside the country.
In August 2018, Abbie and Carl opened their hearts and home to a tiny black toy poodle they named Robin. The name holds a special meaning—drawn from one of Carl’s creative projects with an overseas client, who commissioned a digital artwork for a song titled “Robin Hood.” Part of Carl’s earnings from that project helped bring Robin into their lives. More than just a pet, Robin became a symbol of their shared journey—born from creativity, love, and the joy of building a life together.
Through the years, Abbie and Carl’s love didn’t just grow—it journeyed. Alongside their families, they created memories across borders, sharing laughter and stories in places like Hong Kong, Vietnam, Korea, Malaysia, and Thailand. And earlier this year, in the crisp air of Japan, they marked a beautiful milestone with their overseas pre-wedding shoot—a celebration of the love that has taken them so far, and the adventures still to come.
After more than seven years together, Carl proposed to Abbie on August 24, 2024, at the Amoma Restaurant, surrounded by their families who witnessed the moment firsthand. It was a quiet but unforgettable evening—filled with love, a few happy tears, and the warmth of knowing they were stepping into forever with the people who mattered most.
